PhD Scholar · Human-AI Interaction (HAIx) Lab, IIT Gandhinagar. Building adaptive interfaces at the intersection of HCI, biosignal processing, and assistive AI.
I am a PhD researcher at the Human-AI Interaction (HAIx) Lab, IIT Gandhinagar. Before the PhD, I trained deep-learning models on large-scale image datasets at Samsung R&D Bangalore and built test automation as a QA engineer at AlgoSec. CohortLab brings that mix to teaching: research-lab rigor, industry pragmatism, and a belief that fundamentals are learned by building.
Where the work has been
PhD Researcher & Teaching Assistant
Doctoral research in AI at the Human-AI Interaction (HAIx) Lab. TA for CS435 Human-Computer Interaction, CS432 Databases, and ES112 Computing.
Visiting Researcher — BCI for Rehabilitation
Built a real-time brain-computer interface to monitor mental fatigue and improve patient engagement during stroke rehabilitation therapy.
Quality Assurance Engineer
Owned the complete feature lifecycle on the AppViz product — test planning, validation, and production sanity. Built automation pipelines with Selenium and API testing frameworks.
Research Associate — Computer Vision
Trained and evaluated deep-learning models (autoencoders, GANs, transformers) on 100K+ sample image datasets on GPU-accelerated Linux systems.
